The Week Twelve assignments focused on Mashup & Remixes. I thought this week’s assignments would be very hard, but it ended up being pretty easy and light. I was so glad it was an easy week because I was sick and had a big paper due. I liked this week’s assignments and it was very easy to understand the concept. We only need to finish 2 more Daily Creates.
Mashing Friends and Emojis (3.5 stars)
I thought this was a fun assignment. All my kids are grown up now, but I still remember how cute they were when they were little. To do this assignment, first, I picked out a few baby pictures. Then, I download an emoji from online to my IPhone. Next, I used Pic Collage to put two pictures together and saved it to my phone. Lastly, I uploaded it to flicker and embedded it to my blog.

Create A Warning Poster (3 starts)
This assignment is to create a poster warning people of some sort of danger. I thought this was a good idea to link with my character, the Clown. I found a clown picture online and download it. Then, I used the Paint to add words and upload it to my Flicker account. Lastly, I edit it picture by using the Flicker’s photo edit tool to finished it.
Remix Original Picture: (2 stars)
For this Remix assignment, I needed to translate the story or add a foreign language to any assignment. I decided to translate the assignment to Chinese since I know the second language. This assignment was a very easy Remix for me since my native language is Chinese. I listed to the English first, then I translated it into Chinese.
Title: What’s in your bag?
Your purse, bag, backpack, murse, whatever, is your constant companion throughout your adult life. What are the essentials in your bag that get you through the day? Take a picture of the items and detail each of them with a description.
Countrify It (2 stars)
For this assignment, I will add a sound of country music to an assignment to remix the assignment. To be able to add music to the assignment, I decided to put the final piece on YouTube. To finish this assignment, First, I downloaded the image to my computer. Then, I found a country song from Freesound.org and downloaded it to the computer too. Next, I uploaded the image and the song to Movie Maker and copied the image three times, so the sound can run longer than the image. Lastly, I saved it as a movie, uploaded it to YouTube, and embedded it to my blog.
